Stunning Location
Wrenbury Hall is a beautiful 18th Century Georgian-style mansion, tucked away in the leafy Cheshire countryside. It provides the perfect picturesque setting for couples with the combination of its historical ambience, elegant rooms and huge Orangery, along with the recent addition of The Cabin aka Man Cave in the gardens.
The Chemistry
When Tom and Elisha asked us to photograph and film their wedding there we were super excited, especially as they were such chilled and lovely couple. We have seen many beautiful brides in our time but never worked with such a stunning beauty as Elisha. The chemistry between the two of them is so strong and as soon as they lock eyes on each other and the photos clearly tell the story of their day. With the First Look with brother Callum (very emotional), then dad (equally so) and then followed by a big reveal for the bridesmaids… all with great reactions!
The Story of the Day
The weather forecast wasn’t looking too good as the day approached but luckily, the weather gods (& closely monitored by Ian the Master of Ceremonies) decided to offer some windows of opportunity which we and the guests took full advantage of and moved outside into the grounds. Elisha’s bridesmaids were loads of fun and whilst offering support and love to Elisha, also fitted in a very competitive round of Crazy Golf before later taking to the dance floor. Team Tom spent most of the day teasing each other and taking the micky relentlessly with plenty of bromances going on. Dougherty & Allen, wedding caterers from Chester, delivered a beautiful 3-course dinner, followed by teas and coffees before the speeches began. With the Father of the Bride and Groom’s speeches showing the closeness of the families, the Best Man gave quite an emotional (and funny, at times) speech having been close friends with the Groom since the age of 3.
Intimate Moments
We managed to sneak outside with the newlyweds for a bit of time out, in between showers and capture some photos and film with just the two of them before the evening guests started to arrive and the party got into full swing!
Party time!
The DJ must have read his audience well as the retro tunes got virtually everyone on their feet which created a great party atmosphere. With a sumptuous hot buffet of burgers, ribs, samosas & chips with relishes, the guests refuelled and then headed back to the dance floor for some more great moves well into the night.
