Who said size matters? This was the smallest wedding I have ever photographed, as the couple is having another party in Europe with their families. Flora and Mark were determined to have a stylish day from start to finish.
I’ve never shot at Hope Street Hotel before, and I was so impressed. It’s in the smartest area of Liverpool, right next door to the Everyman theatre. I’m not much of a city dweller, but I felt right at home here.
The hotel is impeccable. The rooms are beautifully appointed, total quality finish, simple but quirky at the same time. There is a clean design everywhere you look, those lines really set up some great image opportunities.
We hit it lucky with the weather… the summer of 2019 has been mostly a miss, but the weather pulled itself out of the bag just in time for their day, leading to wonderful sunset and blue hour photos in the evening.
