Black tie & fuchsia pink…
What a stylish and vibrant day Grace & Elliot had for their wedding day.
With beautiful late Spring sunshine and the incredibly elegant Concert Hall at St George’s Hall, Liverpool for their ceremony, what could be more perfect for such a perfectly matched couple?
Getting ready at Hope Street Hotel in the centre of Liverpool
With the preparations all taking place at the Uber chic Hope Street Hotel, the guys were clearly enjoying a bit of bromance whilst things got a bit hot & steamy in bride prep when Grace’s mum & Liana her MoH were busy getting the creases out of Grace’s stunning cathedral veil.
After a quick nerve settler in the hotel bar, the boys walked the one-mile journey to St George’s Hall.
Grace, meanwhile, spent the time preparing in the luxurious Bridal Suite with a balcony overlooking central Liverpool, stunning views across the city and even an outdoor jacuzzi!
A very stylish ceremony in the Concert Room at St George’s Hall
On arrival at St George’s Hall, the guests gathered in the stunning foyer with its grand staircase until it was time to take their seats in the intimate but very auspicious setting of the Concert Room.
Grace arrived early and looked very relaxed and stylish, accompanied by Liana in a sparkly pink dress with a train to complement Grace’s stunning halter neck dress and beautiful bouquet of pink orchids. Herbie, their son, looked so smart in his Page Boy suit accompanied by his cousin Alfie as they walked down the aisle together, followed by his mum, the bride.
After a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds left the building with a confetti tunnel on the red carpet, followed by photos on the wide steps on the West side of the hall.
Then it was back to Hope Street Hotel for the celebrations to commence!
Sunny Rooftop Party
On such a sunny day, the roof terrace on the top of the hotel with 3 balconies overlooking different aspects of the Liverpool skyscape, the guests soon reached for their sunglasses and a cold glass of champagne.
After some time to chat and relax, everyone was invited to the ‘Fifth Two’ for the Wedding Breakfast, starting with the speeches.
Not being a couple to stick with traditional ways, Grace & Elliot decided to have a Cheese Cake along with some cupcakes (of course) to enjoy after their first dance.
In the evening the 8-piece band got everyone on their feet, especially Grace & Elliot who loved every minute of the live music and incredible atmosphere!
As we discovered, Grace & Elliot also shared the unique ability to perfectly balance a full glass of champagne or other alcoholic beverage whilst moving swiftly around the dance floor.
To end the evening on a high, Grace & Elliot had organised sparklers and what a great way to end the evening of dancing and merriment, outside in the warm evening, high above the streets of Liverpool.
