Doubletree by Hilton, Chester – Lisa & Ben’s Wedding
The Preparations
Lisa and Ben really wanted to get married this year so planned an intimate wedding at the DoubleTree Hotel, Chester. The day started with Lisa and her Maid of Honour getting ready at the hotel and Ben arrived to meet his Best Man in the Bar.
The guests consisted of close family and as the numbers were so small several guests live streamed the Ceremony on their mobile phones for the virtual guests unable to be there in person. There was even a life-sized cardboard cut-out of the groom’s brother & his girlfriend in the Reception area!
The Ceremony
The Ceremony room had been beautifully decorated with strings of soft warm lights and the aisle lined with rose petals & lanterns. Lisa arrived on her father’s arm looking very elegant in her stunning dress with incredibly stunning sparkly shoes. Ben waited patiently at the front of the room, looking over his shoulder as his bride approached with a warm smile.
Canapés & bubbly!
After the Ceremony the very newly wed couple left the room in style and one the best Ceremony exits Ive photographed! Outside the guests lined up for a confetti tunnel with confetti canons for extra effects, then it was back indoors for canopies and a glass of bubbly. The cake
Golden Hour
After some group photos, as the light was so lovely, a real golden hour, I ‘borrowed’ Lisa & Ben for a romantic walk around the beautifully manicured gardens to get some lovely couple shots. Then, we were joined by Lisa & Ben’s beloved dachshund for some ‘family’ photos. Fab day and lovely people, thanks, Lisa & Ben!
