Anthony and James had waited for so long to get married and finally their day had arrived. With James’s family travelling from Ireland and New Zealand it was a real family affair with plenty of catching up to do! The day was even more special with the arrival of Xander and Zachery, their beautiful twin boys, just 4 months old on the day.
Peckforton Castle is such a magical place, standing impressively on the side of the Peckforton Hills in the Cheshire countryside, surrounded by ancient woodlands, just the perfect wedding venue.
The day was calm and relaxed, with Uncle Simon taking on the task of ironing everything for the boys and a special friend kindly steaming all 8 of the Groomsmaid’s stunning orange dresses. The Great Hall was impeccably decorated with blossom trees, fresh flowers and candles and the champagne bottles were on ice, ready for the ceremony to commence.
Anthony and James were escorted down the aisle by their mums and the beautiful harmonies from the String Quartet resonated around the hall. Hayley from Your Ceremony https://yourceremony.org.uk/ conducted the wedding ceremony beautifully. Three of the Groomsmaids performed poignant readings and the Sand Ceremony added a special moment too.
Afterwards everyone was greeted by the happy couple in the Long Hall with Gin and Tonics and Canapes.
