Inglewood Manor Summer Wedding Photography

5th June 2022

The Grand Arrival

As soon as Benita and Philip enter a room, the whole room lights up! The chemistry between them is so powerful and the way they can’t take their eyes off each other is so lovely.

The moment the bride and groom arrived together at Inglewood Manor in the beautiful cream & black Vintage Bentley you could see the excitement on their faces. The fact that it was raining on their long-awaited June wedding day didn’t spoil the occasion at all and we did manage to sneak outside after the guests had gone as the rain held off briefly, for a stroll around the stunning, if a little damp, gardens.

The pretty pink & cream roses with green foliage Benita and Philip chose for their day were everywhere and the scent was amazing! They thoughtfully provided vases too so that the ladies all got to take some home with them as a memento of the day.

The Intimate Wedding Ceremony

The Ceremony started with Bella, Benita’s eldest granddaughter reciting a poem followed by readings by Philip’s nephew Philip and good friend Sue. After a beautiful ceremony and a few happy tears, it was time for the guests to shower the newlyweds with rose petals as they left the room as the new Mr & Mrs Gibbon.

As some of Benita and Philip’s guests were unable to join them in person, we live-streamed the Ceremony with virtual guests watching from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and other parts of the UK. We knew the stream was working when Paul, an Australian ‘guest’ texted his brother to ask him to move his head to one side so that he could get a better view of the couple!

The Wedding Breakfast

After the room was quickly transformed from Ceremony Room to the Wedding Breakfast Room, the 21 guests, including granddaughters Bella & Tilly, greeted Benita and Philip into the room as a married couple. The long table looked stunning with lots and lots of flowers and elegant silver candelabras and plates.

The Most Magical of Days!

The atmosphere all day was incredibly warm, with so much laughter, it was really lovely to be a part of such a special day. As they waved their guests off after tea and cakes, Benita said that they might just have another cup of tea before heading off to relax in their room, whilst they reflected on this most magical of days!
