Autumnal Engagement Shoot

16th October 2017

After Kai and James had booked their wedding photography through us, we suggested it would be a good idea to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday having a few engagement shots taken. The first attempt was thwarted by the terrible weather we have been experiencing, luckily the second attempt the week later, things started to come together.

When they arrived at my studio, you couldn’t help notice they had perfectly anticipated our chosen landscape for the day. The colour of their shirts perfectly matched the wonderful autumnal ferns that feature in the shots. I love the colours at this time of year. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t quite providing the golden hour lighting I had hoped for, so Victoria packed the lights into the car with me.

The shots were taken in the hills above the studio, on a part of the Sandstone Trail long distance footpath.
