Set in 16 acres of stunning woodland, Bartle Hall is a beautifully chic, rural setting that is perfect for any wedding day!
Francesca, our lovely bride, prepared herself for the day in the bridal oasis that is Thicket Lodge, a bright, tranquil little hideaway set back in its own woodland area within the grounds. With its relaxed atmosphere, Thicket Lodge has got to be one of the best venues we’ve seen to start your wedding day off right!
The ceremony itself was a real family affair, with the love in the room creating such a warm, engaging atmosphere, and little Jack managing to keep everybody smiling and entertained all day! Thankfully, with the British weather delivering a beautifully warm spring day, the festivities were able to continue outdoors, with friends and family alike able to sit and chat whilst enjoying the wonderful surroundings that Bartle Hall has to offer.
Last but not least, the real highlight of the evening was Francesca’s dad getting down with the kids on the dance floor and pulling out his best move – the worm. I think it’s fair to say these dance floors can often be surprising!
